These folks wanted to bottom fish. The bad news is the bottom fishing wasn’t very good. Trolling with ballyhoos between spots was decent as we caught 3/4 sails, a mahi and Bonitas. I think we could’ve had a strong day sailfishing if we’d have put the time and effort in as I saw a few jumpers and marked a few more. Beautiful day all in all and thanks to Paul and Michelle and their guests! ... See MoreSee Less

We had Steve and his grandson Adam for a half day this morning. Each released a sailfish and we lost a third that we had hooked. We caught a king Mac out of a few and several hard fighting bonitas. We spent the last hour bottom fishing catching a few snapper, small sea bass and a grouper that we released. 130-145’ on the sail bites today. ... See MoreSee Less

We had a morning half day scheduled but with all the rain and lightning we decided to wait and leave at about 9:00 as it cleared up. Tim and Cliff each caught their first sailfish as we released 3 of the 4 that we raised. Lots of bonita and a barely legal dolphin rounded out our action. 90-100’ Ne of the inlet is where we fished today. ... See MoreSee Less

Had the Lewis family from Texas for their first time fishing out of Stuart. We had the pleasure to meet and take them fishing one day in Casa de Campo in March. We had a tough start with ridiculous Bonita action through the morning. We finally saw and caught our first sail at 12:45 and managed to finish with 4 by 3:30. We caught a dolphin of a couple and lost a king or 2 as well. Great folks! Thanks for fishing with us! ... See MoreSee Less
