We fished the last 3 days and caught a few each day. On Thursday with Stan we released a couple of sails and raised a couple more that didn’t bite and a half dozen dolphin. Yesterday with Kelly and his sons we released 3/4 sails that we had hooked, caught a few dolphin and a blackfin tuna and a few Bonitas. Today we raised 4 sails on a short day, catching a couple and a few dolphin with Rick and friends. The boss will fish a few days this week as we prep for our DR trip at the end of the week weather permitting. ... See MoreSee Less

Ok, first report in a week. Took last weekend off with the weather, lotsa wind and rain. On Monday we caught a couple of dolphin and some snapper. On Thursday we trolled for a couple of hours missing a sail, then stopped and caught snappers and triggerfish which we took to Pirates Cove restaurant for lunch. Today we took Jim and Amy and friends for a full day charter catching 2/6 sailfish, a half dozen dolphin and a few lane snappers for the box and released several red snapper. ... See MoreSee Less

I used to like live baiting with greenies when you find the right water conditions.

We had a good time fishing The Stuart Sailfish Club’s Light Tackle Tournament. It was a 3 day event of which you fished the 2 days you preferred. We used Thursday as a practice day and fished the last 2 days of the tournament. We caught a few sails but not enough to place. Yesterday was particularly frustrating as we couldn’t get a bite from the last 5 fish we had in the spread. The dolphin were ferocious and almost bothersome as we were targeting sailfish. Overall pretty good fishing and a 3 great nighttime events put on by the club. We were fishing east and northeast of Fort Pierce each day and would expect good action right off Stuart in the coming days. #stuartsailfishclub #crowderrods ... See MoreSee Less
